Make sure you can reproduce the problems that you are attempting to repair. Basically you have to have the problem happening or can make it happen. Exception here is blowing fuses. Don't repeatedly blow fuses – you will regret it, and there are better ways to do things. See the Appendix A for how to make your own current limiter.
